For most of us who grew up in Northwest Indiana or the south side of
Chicago in the 1950's, "This Is It™" was the place to shop. Whether we
needed family clothing or a ceramic piece for a shadow box, we could

Now, over fifty years later, when other major discounters have long
departed, Brady's continues to serve our community offering the same
great bargains for the entire family.
The same family ownership runs the two store chain (both stores are
located across the street from each other). Many of the 35 loyal employees
have over 20 years seniority.
The Clothing store features family clothing, footwear, medical uniforms,
school uniforms and work clothes at deep discount savings.
The Home and Auto Store is affiliated with the True Value Hardware chain
to offer a larger hardware selection. Whether it's auto accessories,
housewares, sporting goods, beauty aids, toys, school supplies (everything
but groceries), we have what you need. Brady's This Is It™ is also a
Hoosier Lottery outlet.
Both stores have recently been remodeled. All bank cards, debit cards,
Hoosier Works and Illinois Links cards are honored and we offer a free
Layaway program.
